The ideal candidate is confident on a counterbalance truck, able to load and unload lorries quickly and safely, and willing to help with general yard and production tasks.Key responsibilities Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move pallets and goods around the yard Fast, accurate loading and unloading of lorries and trailers Build, break down and repair pallets Bagging and packing production items as required Picking porcelain and other fragile orders with care and attention to detail Manual handling of stock-lifting and moving items regularly Perform basic daily checks on equipment and maintain a tidy, safe working area Assist with ad-hoc tasks across the yard/warehouse as needed What we're looking for Valid counterbalance forklift licence Proven experience operating forklifts in a yard/warehouse environment Ability to load lorries quickly while maintaining safe working practices Comfortable with physical work and regular lifting Careful, methodical approach when picking fragile items such as porcelain Good teamwork, reliability and a positive attitude Basic numeracy and the ability to follow order paperwork Details Full-time temporary position; daytime hours with overtime - Overtime paid at time and half over 40 hours Working Hours Monday to Friday 7am - 6pm Competitive pay and training opportunities Immediate starts considered for the right candidate Potential for permanent contract after probation and depending on business needs To apply, please submit your CV and a brief note outlining your relevant experience and availability.
