Job Description
D&I Recruitment is currently recruiting reliable and motivated HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing trunking work. This is a depot-to-depot role focused on safe and efficient transportation of goods. Drivers will complete trunking routes only no store deliveries ensuring smooth trailer movements across the network.

All routes are depot-to-depot trunking only.
Requirements
- Afternoon into Nights - Start time from (Apply online only)
- Weekdays and Weekends
- Basic English communication skills
- Minimum 6 months since obtaining HGV licence C+E (Class 1)
- Minimum 1 month driving experience C+E (Class 1)
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Settled or Pre-Settled Status
- National Insurance Number

Key Responsibilities
- Depot-to-depot trunking work
- Trailer swaps between depots
- Safe and compliant operation of HGV vehicles
- On-time deliveries and collections
- Secure transport of goods
- Vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Compliance with road safety and legal requirements
PAYE Pay Rates
Monday to Friday £19.00 per hour (first 8h)
Overtime after 8h £23.50 per hour
Saturday £22.00 per hour (first 8h)
Overtime after 8h £23.50 per hour
Sunday £24.00 per hour (first 8h)
Overtime after 8h £25.00 per hour
Bank Holiday £30.00 per hour (all hours)
After 12 Weeks
Monday to Friday £19.50 per hour (first 8h)
Overtime after 8h £24.00 per hour
Saturday £23.00 per hour (first 8h)
Overtime after 8h £24.00 per hour
Sunday £25.00 per hour (first 8h)
Overtime after 8h £25.00 per hour
Bank Holiday £30.00 per hour (all hours)
