HGV Class1 day

Job Summary:

Platinum people Recruitments looking for Class 1 Tramper Driver for ongoing work in Nantwich. 4 ON / 4 OFF shift pattern.

Responsibilities:

Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Deliver goods to various locations as per scheduled routes,
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Adhere to company policies regarding safety practices and vehicle maintenance.

About job:

Role of Class 1 Tramper Driver 4 on / 4 off

- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

-Distance work with approx 2-3 curtain side drops daily

-Great kit with microwave, fridge, TV etc in vehicle

-Breaks and parking paid

Qualifications:

Valid Category CE Licence min 12 months

Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 minimum 6 months

Strong driving skills

Excellent driving record with no major violations

Pay rates:

- 17.57 inc hol pay

- 23.37 inc hol pay - for 6th shift

- 25.81 night out
