Job Type: Full Time Office Based

We are recruiting for an experienced Freight Operations Specialist to join a well-established and growing UK freight forwarder based in the Worcestershire area.

This is a hands-on, start-to-finish role with a strong focus on road freight import and export operations, offering the opportunity to develop into a fully multimodal operator with exposure to air and road freight (full training provided).

The role includes:

• Start-to-finish management of sea, air and road freight import and export shipments
• Handling customs clearance and all associated documentation
• Liaising with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and suppliers
• Arranging final delivery and transport
• Resolving operational issues professionally and efficiently
• Accurate job costing and invoicing
• Supporting air and road freight bookings as part of multimodal development
• Making consultative outbound calls to customers to support service delivery and growth

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in freight operations (imports and/or exports)
• Solid understanding of international freight forwarding processes
• Customs clearance experience
• Confident handling files end to end
• Organised, detail-focused, and customer-driven
