Forklift Operator

On behalf of our client, a well-established logistics provider in Ipswich, we are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled driver looking for a stable, daytime schedule within a high-standard warehousing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading & Unloading: Safely moving palletised goods from HGVs and containers.
• Stock Management: Organising warehouse racking and ensuring stock is stored accurately.
• Bonded Cargo Handling: Assisting with the movement of goods within designated areas, adhering to strict compliance protocols.
• Safety & Maintenance: Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining a hazard-free workspace.

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Valid License: A current, accredited Counterbalance Forklift certificate is essential.
• ETSF Experience: Prior experience working within an External Temporary Storage Facility (ETSF) or a bonded warehouse environment is highly beneficial and will be looked upon favourably.
• Precision: An understanding of the care required when handling uncleared goods and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Reliability: A professional approach with a track record of consistent attendance.
