A well established UK engineering business is looking for a Field Service / Installation Engineer to join its growing team covering the West Midlands.

The company designs, supplies and supports specialist mobility and patient handling equipment used in environments such as hospitals, care homes, schools and private homes. Their work plays a key role in improving safety, independence and quality of life for people who rely on mobility support.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys practical hands on work, travelling to different sites and solving problems independently.

The Role

Installation of specialist moving and handling equipment
Service, maintenance and fault finding on existing systems
Attending customer sites including care homes, hospitals and private residences
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
Completing job reports and documentation
Delivering excellent customer service on site

Most work is carried out independently in the field, with full support from the engineering team.

What We Are Looking For

Experience in field service, installation or maintenance engineering
Mechanical or electro mechanical fault finding experience
Strong problem solving skills
Comfortable working independently and managing your own day
Good customer facing skills
Full UK driving licence

Engineers from industries such as mobility equipment, stairlifts, medical devices, white goods, fire and security, AV, vending machines or other field service environments would all be considered.

Full product training will be provided.

26,000 to 36,000 basic salary
