Mobile Maintenance Engineer

Location: Birmingham & West Midlands (Mobile)

Salary: up to £44,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Van

Package: 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Your Birthday Off

The Opportunity Attega Group is partnering exclusively with a leading national Facilities Management provider to recruit a high-caliber Mobile Maintenance Engineer. This role is focused on delivering premium Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive support for a prestigious, high-spec commercial contract in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities

  • PPM Excellence: Execute comprehensive planned maintenance across a variety of M&E assets including HVAC, lighting, emergency power, and water systems.
  • Reactive Response: Attend site for urgent repairs and fault finding, ensuring minimal downtime for the client.
  • Compliance: Ensure all site logs and certification are up to date and meet strict industry regulations.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the technical face of the business, providing updates to building managers and factoring findings into future maintenance costs.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Oversee specialist third-party vendors when required on-site.

Candidate:

  • Multi-skilled experience (Mechanical or Electrical) with a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Commercial Savvy: Proven experience working on high-end commercial buildings or corporate headquarters.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with L8 water hygiene, emergency lighting, and fire alarm testing.
  • Mindset: Proactive, professional, and capable of working independently.
  • License: Full UK Driving License (Clean preferred).
