Job Description
We are looking for a technically capable, detail-oriented, and proactive Design Engineer to join a successful long-standing business based in Lowestoft. They are currently expanding and their has never been a better time to join them.
The Job:
This is a Design focused role and you will be assisting in developing the company s range of refrigeration products.
You will be:
- Producing 3D CAD Designs of large assemblies, including sheet metal components, plastics, routed piping systems and electrical harnesses.
- Developing detailed manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation.
- Creating new product concept models.
- Producing design calculations, technical notes, and all supporting reports.
This role will need you to research and develop design concepts, utilising your experience to ensure it is safe, functional, serviceable, cost effective and looks great!
The Person:
We require an experienced design engineer, who is experienced in SolidWorks with knowledge of sheet metal design, and manufacturing processes.
- Hours of work: 8am to 4.30pm (30mins unpaid for lunch)
- Place of work: In office (no remote working) Lowestoft.
- Salary range: 35K to 45K
- Starting date: As soon as possible / by end of April
