Maintenance Engineer
Day Shift - 7am - 3.30pm
Salary: 38,000 - 40,000 (OTE 55k- 60kpa)
Location: Heathrow
We are currently recruiting Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the maintenance and servicing of automated and semi-automated material handling systems primarily for the air cargo sector
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a mechanical and electrical fault-finding background to work in a highly specialised air cargo environment. You'll be part of a close-knit engineering team maintaining critical systems that support international logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and servicing on automated and semi-automated material handling equipment
- Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical fault-finding
- Respond to breakdowns and support continuous system availability
- Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately
- Work in full compliance with site safety procedures and operational standards
Requirements
- Level 2 City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) preferred
- Experience maintaining or servicing industrial or mechanical systems (advantageous)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and reporting abilities
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Clean criminal record
- Minimum 5 years' checkable employment history (references required due to site clearance)
