A high-achieving Grammar school in Rainham is seeking a dedicated and confident Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from ASAP until the end of the academic year in July.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a structured, academically focused environment where students are motivated and standards of behaviour and achievement are consistently high. The school is looking for a reliable specialist who can provide continuity and high-quality teaching during this period.
Maths Teacher responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3-KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
- Plan, mark and assess in line with departmental expectations
- Support student progress and attainment through structured teaching
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic focus
- Contribute to the wider Maths department and school community
Maths Teacher requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar recognised in the UK
- Experience teaching Maths in a secondary setting
- Ability to commit to full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
- Strong classroom management suited to a Grammar school environment
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
