Maths Teacher Secondary School Fareham
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term until December 2025 (with potential for permanent placement)
Pay: £160 £240 per day (based on experience)
Hours: 8:00am 4:00pm Full-Time
Location: Fareham

Supply Desk is partnering with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Fareham to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a full-time role starting ASAP with strong potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

You ll be joining a collaborative Maths department where innovation and support go hand-in-hand. You ll play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence, logical reasoning, and a love for numbers.

Whether you're an experienced teacher, a passionate Early Career Teacher (ECT), or someone with strong relevant experience in secondary Maths education, we d love to hear from you.

What You ll Be Doing:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and inspiring Maths lessons tailored to varied learning needs.
  • Promote critical thinking, resilience, and independent learning.
  • Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.
  • Contribute to wider school life from revision sessions to Maths enrichment clubs.

What We re Looking For:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject (essential).
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
  • A passion for making Maths accessible and enjoyable.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
