Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Linux Server Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Linux server infrastructure. This project involves ensuring server stability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine server maintenance tasks (updates, patching, log management).
- Monitor server health, resource utilization, and performance.
- Implement and manage user accounts, permissions, and security configurations.
- Configure and troubleshoot services (e.g., Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SSH).
- Set up and manage backup solutions for server data.
- Respond to server alerts and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide documentation of server configurations and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong command-line proficiency and scripting skills (Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with web servers, databases, and common Linux services.
- Understanding of server security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot system-level issues.
