The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure each child receives the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive in the classroom.
Key responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Helping to adapt learning materials to suit individual pupils
- Encouraging pupil confidence, independence, and engagement in lessons
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Requirements - SEN Teaching Assistant
