Machine Operative - Nights

Do you have experience within a production or manufacturing environment? Do you consider yourself to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an asset to a busy team?Are you based in or around Launceston?

This role is ideal for someone with production or manufacturing experience and a safety-first approach, although training will be provided.

Role: Production Operative - NightsLocation: DS Smith Packaging, Hurdon Road, Launceston, PL15 9HNJob Type: Full Time, Contractual - 3 months initially with potential for extensionPay: Basic Rate: £16.41 per hour

Shifts: 37 hours per week - Weekday nights 10pm-6am Mon-Thu, 4pm- 9pm Fri.

Start: ASAP (subject to interview and onboarding checks)

• Working in line with Health and Safety guidance and processes at all time
• Managing the setting and running of machinery
• Achieving high quality standards on all work produced
• Adhering to customer demands in a timely manner
• Completing any other duties relevant to the department as requested by the shift manager

• Previous experience in a production environment (2+ years)
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Comfortable being on foot for long periods of time
• Able to conduct manual handling
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle would be desirable due to site location it is difficult to travel via public transport
