Senior Technician - Lighting
You'll report to the Head of Lighting and Sound and be responsible for casual technicians. You'll also work closely with the Senior Technician - Sound, Senior Technician - Stage, Head of Stage, and the Technical Manager.
This role is an integral part of the technical team within this busy regional venue. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in the technical aspects of theatre craft and have a background in facilitating shows. You will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, computer literate and have the ability to lead and motivate others. You will have a good working knowledge of current health and safety legislation, along with modern theatre technology systems.
The Senior Technician - Lighting will work closely with the BOH Team to manage technical systems with responsibility for all aspects including but not limited to: in-service and testing of electrical equipment, equipment scheduling, lighting and sound systems, assist in stage and Flys and maintenance, and liaise with visiting companies, providing expertise on the venue's capabilities.
