URGENT - Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver Required - Leicester
Immediate Start - Monday 5:00 AM

Pertemps are urgently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver for a Monday start based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work with the potential to become temp-to-perm after a successful 4-week trial period.

Schedule

• • Monday to Thursday - Stay-outs required
    
    

• • Return Friday afternoon
    
    

• • Early starts (5:00 AM)
    
    

• • Paid while on stay-outs
    
    

• • Parking allowance provided
    
    

• • £25 food allowance if parking does not provide meals
    
    

The Role

• • Driving an 18t curtain-sided vehicle
    
    

• • Multi-drop deliveries
    
    

• • Signing and completing paperwork
    
    

• • Using CX app for deliveries
    
    

• • Operating a pump truck when required
    
    

• • Close and go deliveries
    
    

• • No handballing required (only in worst-case scenarios)
    
    

• • Vehicle checks and compliance with Drivers' Hours & WTD regulations
    
    

Requirements

• • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
    
    

• • Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
    
    

• • Maximum 3 points on licence
    
    

• • Valid CPC & Digi Tacho
    
    

• • DVLA check required
    
    

• • Safety boots
    
    

• • Good understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations
    
    

• • Reliable and professional attitude
