We're looking for a proactive process and formulation Chemist, to act as the vital link between Research & Development and Production. In this role, you will support the smooth transition of new formulations into production, working closely with blending teams to ensure efficient scale-up, continuous improvement, and right-first-time results.

Description
- Develop and formulate new products in line with customer and market requirements.
- Conduct research and testing to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality control, to optimise formulations.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for internal and external use.
- Monitor and evaluate raw materials to ensure consistency in product performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
- Ensure all laboratory activities adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Support troubleshooting efforts related to product performance or manufacturing challenges.
Profile
A successful Chemist should have:
- A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience within the FMCG industry, particularly in product development or quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment.
- A keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
