We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join a well-established Substance Misuse Prisons Team based in a key London location. This permanent, full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful and lasting impact by supporting individuals to break the cycles of crime and addiction.

You will be working with The Forward Trust, an organisation with over 25 years of experience delivering life-changing services across the criminal justice system. What You Will Do
  • Lead and oversee a team delivering tailored health and wellbeing interventions to adult substance misuse service users
  • Manage and allocate caseloads, supporting staff with complex cases and professional development
  • Monitor performance targets and support the Service Manager with accurate data collection and timely reporting
  • Act as a senior on-site representative when required and deputise for the Service Manager
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including prison staff and partner agencies
  • Maintain high-quality practice through observations, file audits, reflective sessions, and constructive feedback
  • Motivate and support staff to meet Key Performance Indicators while fostering a positive team culture
  • Chair and attend meetings, contributing to service planning and continuous improvement
