The CPA Headquarters Secretariat is at the core of the Association and is committed to working with the leadership and membership of the Association in seeking to achieve its mission and strategic objectives. The Good Governance Lead plays a key role, above all, in delivering our Benchmark Assessments and Technical Assistance Programmes. Our Benchmarks Assessments are a flagship element of our work at the CPA, and they can lead to real institutional changes. Technical Assistance Programmes go hand in hand with the Benchmarks Assessment and provide for long term support to help strengthen Parliaments in the Commonwealth.
This senior manager role will be responsible for the delivery of parliamentary Benchmark Assessments, and targeted, follow up Technical Assistance Programmes under the direction of the Deputy Head of Programmes - Bilateral Engagement. Additional external funding is being sought for this work, and so the role holder will be expected to supervise the implementation of project commitments and donor reporting requirements in this area
