Description

  • Deliver high-quality, cost-effective production methods, ensuring strong manufacturing standards are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement using lean tools, value engineering, and root-cause analysis to enhance capability and eliminate waste.
  • Monitor performance data, analyse downtime trends, and implement corrective actions to maintain best-in-class reliability.
  • Maintain strict compliance with industry regulations, governing body requirements, and quality standards.
  • Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across the department.
  • Manage, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational excellence and maintain high performance.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to support manufacturing strategy and delivery.

Profile

The successful Production Manager should have:

  • A strong background in manufacturing within automotive, aerospace or precision engineering.
  • Proven expertise in managing production processes and teams.
  • Strong technical understanding of machining and CAD methodology.
  • Exposure to operational excellence frameworks such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience with process improvement and commercial viability.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary between £75,000 and £90,000.
