Underwriter - North American Property Binders LondonA leading global re/insurer is seeking an Underwriter to join its North American Property Binders team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for either an Assistant Underwriter ready to step up, or an established Underwriter looking to join a high-performing platform with strong broker flow and clear progression.The Role:You will support and develop a portfolio of North American Property Binder business, working closely with brokers to underwrite profitable risks while contributing to the continued growth of the portfolio. The role offers strong exposure to delegated authority business and the opportunity to build underwriting responsibility over time.Key Responsibilities:Underwrite North American Property Binder risks within agreed appetiteSupport the growth and profitability of the binder portfolioBuild and maintain strong broker relationshipsAnalyse risk, pricing and exposure across delegated authority placementsWork closely with internal stakeholders including claims, actuarial and operationsContribute to portfolio strategy and underwriting developmentRequirements:London Market Property experience (North American exposure beneficial)Background as an Assistant Underwriter looking to step up, or current UnderwriterStrong technical underwriting or underwriting support capabilityUnderstanding of delegated authority / binder business (preferred)Commercial mindset with strong communication skillsPackage:Competitive salary and benefitsStrong bonus potentialClear career progression within a global platformExcellent exposure to a high-performing underwriting teamIf you would like to find out more, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.
