The role of an Unqualified Teacher:
As an Unqualified Teacher, you'll pay a key role in maintaining classroom continuity during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising students and ensuring they complete pre-planned tasks.
- Manging classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Assisting pupils with questions and providing guidance.
- Adhering to the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Collecting and handing in completed work to the Head of Department.
- Offering feedback on lessons and student engagement
About You:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- An undergraduate degree in a subject area such as Chemistry, PE, Business Studies, Computer Science. Or others.
- Strong communication skills, confidence, and adaptability.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
