GSL Education are seeking a Design and Technology Teacher to work at a supportive and well-established secondary school in Hull.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities of a Design and Technology Teacher:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Design and Technology lessons
• Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment
• Assessing and monitoring student progress effectively
• Encouraging creativity, innovation, and independent thinking
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their best

The ideal Design and Technology Teacher:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level
• Be confident managing practical workshop environments
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to supporting student progress and wellbeing
