JOB TITLE: Cook

INDUSTRY: hospitality and catering

START DATE: ASAP

LOCATION: Bridgwater

HOURS: 12:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday- Thursday

SALARY: Competitive, depending on experience

Cook required to join a small, dedicated team within a supported living environment in Bridgwater This is a part-time opportunity preparing fresh, balanced meals for approximately 16 vulnerable individuals.



Key Responsibilities for a cook:

  • Preparing and cooking nutritious meals in line with dietary needs

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene

  • Working independently in a small kitchen setting

  • Supporting the wellbeing of residents through quality, home-style cooking



Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)

  • Basic DBS (essential)

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within care, residential or support environments

  • A caring, professional and patient approach
