Avencia are partnered with a leading insurer to recruit a Claims Adjuster handling Financial Institutions, Fintech and Management Liability claims.
This is an excellent opportunity for junior candidates with experience in FI or PI claims to join a high-performing team, offering strong support, clear progression pathways, and ongoing development.
Key responsibilities
- Handle FI and Management Liability claims in line with internal claims and reserving philosophies.
- Deliver a customer-focused approach through timely service and clear, professional communication with brokers and insureds.
- Contribute to team KPIs, proactively identifying areas for improvement and sharing feedback with Claims Managers.
- Work with managing agents and service providers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with colleagues, sharing insights and best practice across the team.
- Provide feedback on claims trends, policy wordings and renewal considerations to Claims Managers and underwriters.
- Build and maintain strong broker relationships, acting on feedback to enhance service delivery.
- Report on key claim developments, trends and significant notifications.
Skills & experience
- Previous experience handing claims in Professional or Financial Lines, with an understanding of the London Market preferable.
- Demonstrate strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong team work.
- Possess strong independent organisational skills.
- Have good IT (Microsoft Office) skills, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
