Contracts and Regulatory Compliance Manager

Preston Full Time Monday Thursday 08:00 am 4:30 pm and Friday 08:00 am 1:00 pm £40,000 - £45,000 (Dependent upon experience)

What our client is looking for

  • Proven experience managing Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems (Essential)
  • Strong document writing experience to support compliance systems
  • Good understanding of engineering processes and technical specifications
  • Demonstrable experience improving systems, with a focus on compliance management
  • Proven team player with a collaborative approach
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft IT packages (Essential)
  • Commercial and strategic awareness within manufacturing or a similar industry (Preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential)
  • Ability and willingness to travel outside the UK

The role

(This list is not exhaustive)

  • Maintain and retain existing approvals including ISO9001, AS9100 and customer-specific approvals
  • Improve compliance with customer requirements across all relevant processes
  • Lead internal, external and supplier audits
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across compliance systems
  • Conduct compliance checks and approvals at customer enquiry and order stages
  • Implement and maintain regulatory compliance systems (e.g. ethical sourcing, export requirements)
  • Deliver training and raise awareness to support compliance with customer expectations
  • Create and maintain documentation to evidence compliance
  • Monitor associated processes to ensure ongoing conformity and suitability
