The Frontier AI Programme at Digital Futures is designed to equip people from all backgrounds with the skills, confidence, and mindset to launch a successful career in technology. Frontier AI Programme The Frontier AI Programme combines structured learning, industry certifications, and applied project experience into a single journey. It has been designed to equip participants with the most relevant technical and professional skills to enter the fields of data and AI, ready to build solutions and make impact for the world's leading companies. The programme follows three key steps: Immersive Training Your journey begins with 12 weeks of free, full-time training led by our expert instructors. We'll equip you with the essential technical and consulting skills you need to thrive in your first data and AI role. The training covers the following modules: AI & Data Essentials Insight Analytics Programmatic Data Wrangling Predictive Modelling Advanced AI Topics Consultancy Skills Graduation As part of your graduation from the Academy, you'll achieve two industry-recognised certifications . All trainees will be required to achieve: Generative AI Leader Certification (GAIL) Google Cloud Platform Certified Data Analyst with Python (PCAD) Python Institute The cost of your certifications will be covered by Digital Futures. To graduate, you will also need to pass all the challenges set by your instructor across the training and you will need to complete a competency interview with a member of our team. Employment Once you graduate, we'll work with you to deploy you into your first data and AI role with one of our clients. You'll need to interview with our clients to secure your role, but our Delivery Team will be there to support you through that process. Once you interview successfully, you'll become a permanent employee of Digital Futures ready for deployment to client site as a Consultant. There are several different role types that you could be deployed into which include but are not limited to: Data Analyst Data Scientist AI & Data Analyst Data Engineer After completing your first deployment, we will aim to place you in a new, more senior position with a different organisation, following standard consultancy practice. How to Apply At Digital Futures, we look for potential, not perfection . Our application process has been designed to remove bias and give you the opportunity to showcase your current skills and your willingness to learn. The only entry requirement is having full right to work in the UK. Application form: Complete the straightforward application form on the Digital Futures website. Skills Assessment : Your suitability for the programme will be assessed through a series of written, maths and Python coding challenges that will help us understand your strengths and learning potential. Screening Interview : Our screening interview is personal and designed to be a two-way conversation, allowing us to get to know you and you to get to know us. Final Interview: In our final interview, you'll get the opportunity to meet one of our instructors and demonstrate your technical knowledge. What We're Looking For The programme is open to people from all backgrounds. You don't need any formal experience or background in tech to apply. While we encourage you to have done some self-study in Python coding, our most successful applicants demonstrate four key traits: passion, curiosity, commitment, and ambition . Key Programme Information Locations : The training is conducted almost entirely remotely but roles with our clients are available across the UK, including London, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Sheffield, Halifax & Norwich. You must be willing to either commute to or relocate to one of these cities for your deployment. Salary: Once deployed to client site: Year 1: £27,500 per annum, plus benefits Year 2: £32,000 per annum, plus benefits (subject to a performance review) Please note that the training period is unpaid. Benefits : As a permanent Digital Futures employee, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package, pension contributions, and access to an Employee Referral Scheme. Availability : The full-time programme runs Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eligibility : You must have the full right to work in the UK (UK Passport, EU Settled Status, or Permanent Visa Holder) for the duration of your time with Digital Futures, inclusive of the training and employment contracts.
