Job Description:
Recruit UK is working with a well-established and growing Financial Planning firm near Sutton Coldfield seeking an experienced, technically strong Senior Paraplanner (5+ years' experience, ideally Chartered or working towards) who can hit the ground running and quickly adapt to their systems and approach.
The firm has 25 team members across Financial Planners and back-office staff, including 6 Associate Paraplanners, and operates within a collaborative, professional culture focused on delivering high-quality advice. This is a career paraplanner role, ideal for someone who wants to remain on the technical pathway rather than move into advising.
You will handle complex technical cases from day one, with a particular focus on pensions and IHT planning (less emphasis on complex investment work). The successful candidate will be confident producing high-quality suitability reports independently, using internal templates as a starting point. The firm uses Intelligent Office and SharePoint.
This Senior Paraplanner role will be full-time office-based during probation to support integration and training. Following successful completion, hybrid working is available. As many client meetings are conducted face-to-face in the office, there is a preference for team members to be present to support client engagement.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 5+ years' paraplanning experience
- Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered status
- Strong technical knowledge, particularly in pensions and IHT planning
- Ability to produce high-quality suitability reports independently
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
