Health and Safety Advisor

Health and Safety Advisor (Part-Time) (3-Months)
Day Rate: 300 per day, Outside IR35
Location: London

We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety professional for a leading commercial property company to provide hands-on support for our their safety management activities. The role involves conducting regular audits, supporting incident investigations, and helping keep policies and procedures current and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting building health & safety audits twice per month, providing reports with actionable recommendations.
• Performing safety audits focused on food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
• Carrying out Permit to Work audits on an ad hoc basis, ensuring adherence to safe systems of work.
• Assisting in recording and managing accidents, incidents, and near misses, along with investigation support.
• Reviewing and updating health and safety policies and delivering safety briefings to staff and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in conducting health & safety audits and supporting incident management.
• Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver safety information effectively.
• Flexibility to support ad hoc safety responsibilities and liaise with different teams as required.
