Transactional Finance Team Leader - TS/17399

Our exclusive client is recruiting for an experienced Transactional Finance Team Leader who will have full ownership of the day-to-day performance of the purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control team within a high-volume environment. The main focus of the role will be to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and strong cash collection performance.

Duties include:

• Manage and support the transactional finance team on a day-to-day basis, including conducting monthly 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Allocate and prioritise workloads within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Managing high-volume invoice processing, cash allocation, reconciliations, and payment runs
• Processing weekly supplier payment runs, and internal expense payment runs ensuring deadlines are achieved
• Maintaining effective control of creditor and debtor ledgers, including active management of aged balances
• Preparing daily bank files for posting and overseeing bank reconciliations completed by the team.
• Delivering accurate and timely month-end close activities relating to transactional finance
• Contribute to weekly cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting
• Support overall cash management strategy and performance improvement initiatives.
• Working closely with the credit controller across multiple ledgers, driving performance against collection targets

You must have experience of working within a high-volume environment to be considered for this role. Ideally you will have managed a small team but also be used to being very hands on. Communication is key within this role so a strong and confident communicator is a must, as is a good team player and team leader, someone who can work to tight deadlines and be able to work under pressure.
