Job Description

We're supporting a growing professional trustee firm in Birmingham looking to appoint a Trustee Executive to support a portfolio of complex Defined Benefit pension schemes.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Professional Trustees, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making, governance oversight and high-profile DB schemes.

The role:

• Supporting Professional Trustees across a portfolio of DB schemes

• Preparing board packs and governance documentation

• Attending trustee meetings and producing high-quality minutes

• Reviewing actuarial valuations, funding updates and investment reports

• Liaising with administrators, actuaries, lawyers and investment advisers

• Monitoring regulatory developments and supporting compliance activity

• Managing actions and project work between meetings

We're keen to speak with individuals who:

• Have strong Defined Benefit pensions experience

• Are technically confident across complex scheme events

• Have exposure to trustee boards or governance processes

• Are confident dealing with senior stakeholders

• Are working towards or have completed PMI qualifications

This would suit a Senior Pensions Administrator, Associate Consultant or Trustee Services professional looking to move closer to the decision-making side of pensions.
