As a Senior Science Technician you will work closely with subject leaders and teachers to design, prepare and run engaging practical lessons that foster a love of science. You will also support the development of the science curriculum and help maintain an effective and safe laboratory environment. Responsibilities include: Prepare and run practical and laboratory sessions in line with the curriculum. Assist teachers in delivering high quality science lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Support pupils, including those with SEND, with positive behaviour and learning strategies. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science programme and share best practice. Contribute to the school's inclusive and positive ethos. Qualifications and Experience: Laboratory experience and sound knowledge of science up to GCSE. Ability to work effectively as part of a purposeful team. Commitment to encouraging every child to reach their full potential. Previous experience in a school setting is desirable.
