What You Will Do
  • Manage a dedicated alcohol caseload, delivering structured one-to-one interventions.

  • Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and recovery plans.

  • Deliver brief interventions, relapse prevention strategies, harm reduction, and motivational support.

  • Monitor service user progress and review care plans in line with service standards.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and partner organisations.

  • Facilitate group sessions where required.

  • Maintain accurate case records in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

  • Safeguard vulnerable adults and escalate concerns appropriately.

  • Support service users with onward referrals relating to housing, health, and social support.

Requirements
  • Previous experience managing an alcohol or substance misuse caseload.

  • Strong knowledge of recovery models and harm reduction approaches.

  • Experience completing structured assessments and care planning.

  • Ability to confidently manage risk and complex needs.

  • Excellent communication and case management skills.

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
