Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Conflicts & AML Analyst.

This is a new role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to support AML reviews and conflict checks.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing conflicts search requests, conducting corporate research, and capturing relevant search results.
  • Reviewing results to identify potential issues for the firm, preparing and sending reports to the relevant individuals.
  • Clearly recording all conflicts research, communication, analysis, and conclusions of resolution.
  • Researching, identifying, and verifying new clients through external research tools.
  • Advising relevant individuals on AML policies and procedures in the UK and EU.
  • Conducting AML risk analysis on clients, preparing risk assessments.
  • Preparing AML packs.
  • Monitoring current clients, updating due diligence records.
  • Updating the team on high-risk clients or matters in meetings.
  • Assisting with billing and pay requests.
  • Conducting sanctions and adverse media screenings.

Suitable candidates will have a law degree and have knowledge of conflicts rules ideally gained through prior AML and client due diligence experience within a large international law firm. We are seeking applicants with exemplary analytical, research, attention to detail, communication, and organisation skills.
