With a strong track record in delivering Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects ranging in value from £1 million to £10 million, they offer innovative, high-quality solutions to clients in the industrial, commercial, and educational sectors. As part of their continued growth, our client are now seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background within the construction industry, specifically with a strong electrical bias. Role information: Salary - Up to £50,000 per annum Working hours - Monday to Friday (8am-5pm) Working location - Hybrid Role with a mix of Telford Office & Home working permitted The successful candidate will have the relevant experience and qualifications listed below: Electrical Engineering Qualifications Electrical Design Qualification Experience using AutoCAD (REVIT would be beneficial) Experience in using Electrical Design Software (Trimble, ElectricalOM etc.) Experience in carrying out Electrical Design within the construction industry Additional skills required for the role: In-depth electrical expertise Competent IT / software skills Effective communication skills, verbal and written Ability to organise your time and be self-motivated A Positive attitude and Team Player A thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards Understanding of Design Development process in Construction (RIBA Stages) Company Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience (Up to £45,000 per annum) Hybrid working Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
