Court of Protection Solicitor (1+ PQE) Central London Hybrid Working
A well-known and established Central London firm, recognised by The Times as one of the Best Places to Work, is seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join its expanding team.
The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload of Court of Protection matters, including Health and Welfare work (essential) and Property and Financial Affairs matters (desirable).
You will work closely with colleagues in the firm's Social Welfare Department, which specialises in community care, housing and public law and is recommended in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. While your primary focus will be Court of Protection work, there will also be opportunities to gain exposure to community care, public law and housing matters, allowing you to broaden your experience.
The team has strong referral networks with local charities and NGOs and is frequently instructed by the Official Solicitor. Due to increasing demand, there is significant opportunity to help develop and grow this area of practice within the firm.
The firm is seeking a candidate who:
Has experience in Court of Protection work, particularly Health and Welfare matters
Has a good understanding of the legal aid scheme
Shares a strong commitment to access to justice
Ideally has experience with privately funded work
Demonstrates a proactive and collaborative approach
