Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

TeacherActive is currently working with a number of nurseries across Manchester who are looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Practitioners to support their early years teams.
This role is ideal for individuals who have at least 3 months experience working in a nursery setting and are passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their development. Successful candidates will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn through play and exploration.
If you hold a Level 2 or 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification, this is desirable, though not essential.

Support the delivery of engaging early years activities and play-based learning
Help create a safe, welcoming and stimulating nursery environment
Support children s social, emotional and physical development
Assist with daily routines including play, learning activities and mealtimes
Work collaboratively with nursery staff to ensure high standards of care and learning
Observe and support children s development in line with early years frameworks

Minimum 3 months experience working in a nursery
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel to different nursery settings across Manchester
Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities within early years settings

Experience working with EYFS frameworks
