PK Education are working in partnership with a secondary school in Rotherham who are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Science Teacher to join their supportive Science department. This position is ideal for an experienced teacher or a passionate ECT looking to develop their career in a school that promotes high standards, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and well-planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Drive strong student progress through enthusiastic teaching and a broad curriculum
- Use assessment strategies effectively to check understanding and inform lesson planning
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every student can succeed
- Contribute positively to the wider department and school community where required

Who We re Looking For
- A qualified Science Teacher with QTS, or an ECT nearing completion of training
- Confident teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (all specialisms welcome)
- Passionate about inspiring young people and delivering engaging lessons
- Reflective, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional development
- Able to build positive relationships and motivate learners of all abilities
Requirements
- QTS (or working towards QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge across Science
- Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students
