Nurseplus is seeking an organised and proactive Bookings Coordinator to join our busy Basingstoke branch. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating schedules while delivering excellent customer service.
As a Bookings Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our healthcare staff are efficiently placed into shifts, supporting both our clients and workforce.
The RoleYou will be responsible for managing client bookings, coordinating staff availability, and ensuring shifts are filled quickly and efficiently. This role requires strong organisation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy recruitment environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate client bookings for healthcare staff
Contact and allocate available staff to shifts based on skills and availability
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and care staff
Respond to last-minute requests and changes efficiently
Maintain accurate records using internal booking systems
Work closely with the recruitment and compliance teams to ensure staff are ready for work
Support the branch in meeting service delivery targets
Previous experience in coordination, scheduling, or administration preferred
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment
Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office
A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
