Job Description

Who We Are

Runway East creates flexible workspaces across London and the UK. Our mission is to be the best place for ambitious businesses to grow. We care deeply about service, detail and ownership. As a proud B Corp and a growing company, we're building something long-term - for our members and our team.

The Role

We're hiring a senior General Manager to take full ownership of one of our flagship Central London buildings. As the General Manager for that site, you'll be accountable for its standards, service, team and overall performance.

You'll lead a small on-site team and set the tone for the building every day. Your primary focus is operational excellence, consistent member experience and making sure the building runs exceptionally well.

This is a great opportunity for a hospitality leader who wants real ownership. You'll run your site as if it were your own - setting the standard, leading from the front and taking responsibility for outcomes.

Because we're growing, not everything is fully defined. If you enjoy shaping processes, making decisions and improving systems, standards and performance, this role will suit you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a small site team (1-3 people), setting clear expectations and high standards.
  • Ensure the building is compliant, organised and consistently "tour ready."
  • Handle facilities and operational issues, resolving problems quickly and properly.
  • Deliver a consistently strong member experience that protects retention and drives satisfaction.
  • Spot and solve problems fast - from facilities to process improvements you're always looking to make things better.
  • Work closely with the central Commercial team to drive occupancy and retention.
  • Oversee the site P&L, ensuring spend and performance are in line with targets.
  • Build strong relationships with members, partners and local networks - you're the face of RWE.
Who You Are
  • Ownership-led - you take responsibility for outcomes and don't wait to be told what to fix.
  • Standards and service obsessed - you're highly organised, detail-focused and unwilling to accept "good enough
