Your new role
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the finance function, combining strategic responsibilities with hands-on accounting duties. You'll prepare management accounts, oversee cash flow, ensure compliance, and provide commercial insight to guide decision-making. Working closely with the leadership team, you'll help shape the financial future of the business and play a key role in its growth.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Qualified by Experience
- 3+ years' experience in accounting/finance, ideally within an SME environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on experience.
- Ability to balance transactional duties with strategic responsibilities.
- Excellent IT skills, including accounting software and Excel modelling.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain finance to non-finance colleagues.
- Hands-on, adaptable, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a small management team.
