Head of Science - The Role
A well-established secondary school in Havering is seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspiring Head of Science on a permanent basis from September.
As Head of Science, you will:
- Lead and manage the Science department, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics
- Develop and implement a clear vision for teaching and learning within the faculty
- Monitor student progress and drive improved outcomes across all key stages
- Support, coach and develop members of the Science team
- Oversee curriculum planning, assessment and departmental resources
- Contribute to whole-school leadership initiatives
This role is suited to an experienced Science teacher with strong leadership skills, or an existing Head of Department seeking a new challenge within a supportive and forward-thinking school.
