Job Title: Grade 3 Social Care Worker / Care Worker (Shift Work)

Location: Treharris, Merthyr Tydfil (CF46 5HH)

Pay Rate:

• PAYE: £13.26 per hour
• Umbrella / Limited: £17.15 per hour
• Contract Type: Shift-Based / Temporary

Ribble Recruitment are currently supporting the sourcing of Grade 3 Social Care Workers / Care Workers for a residential care service in Treharris, Merthyr Tydfil.

This opportunity offers flexible shift-based work, supporting residents within a residential care environment. The role is ideal for experienced care professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting individuals with their daily needs.

• Provide direct care and support to residents in accordance with their care plans.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities where required.
• Support residents to maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Encourage and assist with social activities and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records and care documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
• Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and care policies.

• Previous experience in a health and social care or residential care setting.
• Understanding of safeguarding and duty of care responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including early, late, or weekend shifts where required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and professional approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.
