HGV / Bus Engineer Shift Pattern: Late, 2pm- 10pm and everyother Saturday as overtime We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV / Bus Engineer to join a well-established engineering team based at the Heathrow depot. This role involves maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of buses and coaches, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and fully operational. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and repair mechanical/electrical systems Prepare vehicles for annual MOT testing Attend roadside breakdowns and carry out effective repairs Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company safety standards Requirements: Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Bus Mechanic / PSV Engineer NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) IRTEC accreditation (desirable) Experience working on buses, coaches, or HGVs Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence advantageous) Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Benefits: Competitive hourly rate ( 23.00+ per hour) Company pension scheme Free or subsidised travel (including family travel benefits) Employee discount scheme Free on-site parking Ongoing training and career progression opportunities If you are a skilled HGV/PSV Engineer looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent benefits and work-life balance, we would like to hear from you.

The Automotive Maintenance division of Questech currently have an exciting new position, located near Oxford. This is an opportunity to work in a busy workshop working on a fleet of vehicles. Immediate Starts can be arranged for this busy workshop to maintain fleet of Vehicles Hours: Monday to Friday Must be able to commit to weekend work (With a uplift in rate) Up to 60 hours per week Pay: You will earn an hourly rate of between £24- £36 per hour Weekly Payroll This is an ongoing position with no end date! You can be paid £ PAYE or £ UMBRELLA to suit your needs. THE ROLE: You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified Vehicle Mechanic and have experience working with a variety of light vehicles, Vans or HGVs. You will also be given the opportunity to train on specialist public sector vehicles.
