Salary around £30,000 - £35,000 - flexible for more experienced candidates.

The Role
You'll be working closely with solicitors and fee earners to ensure costs are drafted properly, recovered efficiently and handled without unnecessary drama.
Day to day includes:
• Drafting legal costs schedules for hearings, mainly across Housing Disrepair and Environmental Act matters
• Negotiating costs on concluded cases
• Working with fee earners to ensure costs are accurate and recoverable
• Supporting and supervising junior costs paralegals
• Carrying out enforcement activity where required
• Helping keep the wider team running smoothly
What They're Looking For
• Around 2+ years' experience in costs drafting
• Comfortable speaking with fee earners and external parties
• Strong written work and good attention to detail
• Able to work efficiently without constant supervision
• Solid IT skills
• Proclaim and CostsMaster exp is ideal,
