Job Description

Fixed term contract 12-months to cover Maternity Leave

Job Summary

Are you an experienced Sales Manager looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience in managing teams to achieve/over-achieve targets?

Together with the Head of Sales & Marketing you will deliver, build and embed the annual recruitment and retention strategy that drives growth and retain members ensuring targets are met across NAHT's product portfolio to new and existing members. Your role will ensure the mix of products sold, at minimum, meet the annual income budgets at an agreed cost.

You will be responsible for maximizing our small sales team's potential by leading from the front and developing the team through developmental coaching, building capability to deliver sales and retention both face to face and over the phone.

You will also engage with non-sales colleagues to support sales as appropriate.

Person Specification

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has demonstratable experience of either working in house or field-based sales and has managed a team of people to deliver sales and/or retention targets.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage, coach, influence and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as strong planning and organising skills and excellent attention to detail are essential attributes for the role.
