Trade Shop Operative

Location: Port Talbot

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Pay Rate: 13.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Trade Shop Operative to work on-site within a busy heavy machinery environment in Port Talbot.

The role involves running the on-site trade shop and issuing PPE to site operatives, ensuring stock is controlled and distributed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating the on-site trade shop

Issuing PPE to on-site operatives

Monitoring and maintaining stock levels

Keeping accurate records of issued equipment

Ensuring the shop area remains organised and compliant with health and safety standards

Assisting with stock deliveries and replenishment

Requirements:

Previous experience in a stores, trade counter, warehouse, or similar environment preferred

Comfortable working within an industrial or heavy machinery setting

Good organisational skills

Basic IT skills for stock control

Reliable and punctual
