Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including IT services agreements, software licences, cloud and SaaS contracts, outsourcing agreements, and supply chain arrangements.
  • Advise clients on technology-related legal issues, including compliance, data protection, cybersecurity, and digital contracts.
  • Support both internal teams and external clients on contractual, legal, and risk management matters.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex transactions and project delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and commercial risks in contracts and technology arrangements.
  • Assist with process improvements and standardisation of contract templates and workflows.
  • Work closely with commercial, finance, and IT teams to provide practical, commercially-focused legal advice.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 1-3 years PQE with demonstrable experience in commercial contracts or technology law.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters independently and prioritise competing demands.
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and client-focused.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and supporting cross-functional teams.
