Head of Sales

Location: Redditch, Worcs (Office based)
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 + car allowance + bonus
Contract: Permanent Start: April 2026
Our client, a leading precision engineering and manufacturing business supplying the aerospace, defence, and energy sectors, is seeking a Head of Sales to lead their commercial function during a period of significant growth and operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the sales, business development, marketing, and administration teams.
- Oversee quoting, contract review, RFQs, sales order release and works order creation.
- Drive growth in aerospace and defence and expand existing customer accounts across the UK, Europe, and North America.
- Shape and deliver the company's marketing strategy.
- Support and optimise ERP process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong OEM and Tier 1 customer relationships.
About you
- Experienced sales leader with hands on ability to win work.
- Background in subcontract manufacturing and precision engineering.
- Strong track record in aerospace and defence (oil & gas/energy beneficial).
- Understanding of full order to delivery processes.
- Marketing strategy experience.
- Experience with ERP systems.
