Salary: £75k to £85k pa depending on experience plus benefits.
Our client is looking for a Head of IT to lead the support of existing and development of new systems and technologies required to support Business development and growth.
Responsibilities
- Management of the Development, Infrastructure and Implementation Team.
- Budget Planning and Revenue Management.
- Lead and manage the client's capability to ensure robust system stability and development of a fit-for-purpose support strategy.
- Monitor and report on performance and progress against the IT strategy and operational performance, producing monthly performance reports to various boards.
- Plan, organise, and manage operations and employees to ensure the stable operation and resilience of the organisation's IT infrastructure.
- Ensure delivery of the design, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of the network, server, telephony and desktop infrastructures.
- Lead the team to ensure excellent customer service is provided to all internal and external customers.
- Lead the budget setting process for IT and ensure that financial implications are considered for all initiatives.
- Provide expertise in the areas of development methodology and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Excellent team management and leadership skills with experience of managing a department of at least circa 30 staff.
- Significant vendor and supplier management experience.
- Excellent analytical, numerate skills and an attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to plan and prioritise and work to tight timelines.
- Effective decision making capability.
- Software Development background is extremely advantageous.
